Laboratory Manager

Today, we’re putting the spotlight on Thibaud, who works as Laboratory Manager within the Sobemab team at the Packing Group’s site in Chânes (71).

1. Could you introduce yourself and describe your role and responsibilities in a few words?

Thibaud DUCROUX, aged 26. I’ve been working for Sobemab since January 2021. I’ve held the role of Laboratory Manager for the past four years. My responsibilities are directly linked to product quality and consumer safety, as I monitor various parameters in the wines.

2. What are the three things you enjoy most about your day-to-day work and responsibilities?

The three things I enjoy most about my job are:

• The relationship between the different departments (particularly the cellar and production)
• Regular contact with customers
• The diversity of the wines we work with

3. Why did you choose to join Sobemab? What values at Sobemab are important to you?

Sobemab is my first employer. I’d finished my studies and was interested in the wine sector; I applied and Sobemab put their trust in me by offering me my first job! I’ve been here for five years now and I love what I do every day. The values that are important to me are team spirit and the desire to deliver high-quality work for a high-quality product: wine.
