LOVIS

Lovis are logistics warehouses that complement our bottling site, located in southern Burgundy, dedicated solely to wines. Thanks to their privileged geographical location – node A6, A40 and RCEA – they welcome some 20 semi-trailers on a daily basis to receive the wines to be stored or routed the orders of its customers throughout France and Europe. 
Lovis offers three specific services: the storage of finished products, bulk wines and the preparation of orders.

In Lovis warehouses, with a total area of 1.2 ha – 2 cells of 6000 m2 – created in 2019, the 8 logisticians are busy responding to multiple daily requests. The expert system drives the forklifters who stack the VMF or EURO pallets, on 5 levels (height floor + 4) considering the requirements of each customer. Storage of finished products after bottling, wines awaiting delivery – in picking or complete pallets – storage service regardless of duration, Lovis adapts flexibly to each customer request.

The two cells are easily accessible, have a large waiting car park and 10 loading/unloading docks. They are ergonomic and at a regulated temperature.

The historic activity of Lovis, the storage capacity of wines in bulk is unique: some 150 vats, including 3 x 2500 hl stainless steel tanks, allow long-term storage and the preparation of wines before they are bottled. These large and rare volumes make it possible to ensure assemblies with consistency and precision. The site’s manager manages the stocks of each customer on a daily basis as well as the assemblies requested.

Lovis manages orders for its customers in full pallets or picking. In both cases, the flow management is controlled by a first-class inventory management system. The organization of the racks and the expertise of the preparers enable Lovis to offer a high-quality service.
