A family adventure that began in 1968

1968 : Jean-Michel Roux, born in Beaujolais, is very interested in the work of the winemakers who surround him. He created the Sobemab, “Société d’Embouteillage Beaujolais Mâconnais” and travels around his native Beaujolais and neighboring Mâconnais with vans to meet winegrowers who quickly appreciate the usefulness and quality of his services. To meet growing demand, Jean-Michel Roux builds the Chânes site and offers a new offer: custom bottling with automatic bottling lines. Mobility grows and conquers Chablis, Burgundy, Jura, northern Côtes du Rhône, Sancerre, Saint-Pourçain, etc.

1998: creation of a subsidiary in Villeveyrac in Hérault, 3S. This offers the same services before concentrating on bottling in its center.

2000: The two companies are sold to an Australian group.

2008: Charles Roux bought back the two companies with the idea of providing new services. It complements the offer with oenology advice, cellar work, new storage capacity, dry matter supply and logistics.

2016: birth of the “My Bottling” brand with the aim of promoting services internationally. https://my-bottling.com/

Even though the company has grown after half a century, its spirit is still the same: it has retained its independence and continues, every day, to serve its customers and their wines.

2025: marks the evolution of the Packing Group, which brings together Sobemab, 3S and Ninot et Fils, a mobile bottler based in Côte-d’Or. Driven by an ambition to expand internationally, the group adopted a new name and slogan in English: More than Wine Services: More than Wine Services. This change is accompanied by a modular logo, reflecting its modern, adaptable identity.

Each Packing Group entity has its own specific expertise, guaranteeing tailor-made solutions to meet the most demanding requirements. Whatever the formats, volumes or technical constraints, the Group is committed to offering a response tailored to its customers’ needs.
